Clean Energy "Matchmaking" Event Scheduled For Jan. 5th
With an acronym like REEBA, you might think you've stumbled upon a country music blog.
But fear not.
REEBA is the Renewable Energy & Efficiency Business Association. The group and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund plan to start 2012 out on a positive note by hosting a joint clean energy “matchmaking" event at the Rocky Hill Marriott.
The Jan. 5th event is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for companies, colleges and universities, municipalities, institutions and landowners interested in clean energy generation products and energy efficiency measures to speak directly with providers.
Representatives of solar, fuel cell and energy efficiency companies will be on hand to meet with attendees.
The event provides opportunities to learn about new clean energy-related financial incentives available under Public Act 11-80, which was passed by the state legislature during the 2011 legislative session. Connecticut Light & Power Company and the United Illuminating Company, Nexamp, Inc., Ameresco and UTC Power will make brief presentations at the event regarding available clean energy incentives.
